Our GC is in way over his head on dealing with enforcing our licences. His usefulness has past and now we must seek out some one more effective internationally, with proven experience dealing with China.

@197184 She is a government paper pusher who was fired from her government job. The only reason she was hired was because she was buddies with the old GC and needs a job. She is even worse than DR. People who worked with her at the government level say she was just as bad there. her policies are draconian. If you want QC to turn into a government style organization she is definitely your man, but if you want to move it into the next century you have to ditch them both.
@197184, I wholeheartedly agree. Qualcomm should dump DR and put Lam back in that slot.
China will not pay royalties. EVER. PERIOD. China makes cellphones now. No fancy lawyers can help QCOM. Engineer products that win above the competition.
GC does not negotiate license terms. qTL attorneys /biz peeps do that. He is not the reason we can't get deals signed. He just a lousy GC in general.

DR is one of the worst GC Qualcomm could have chosen. According to news reports and insider info he "Left" apple after a few months because he "couldn't keep up", one of the worst public speakers I have ever heard. Self grandizing, so rude, treats others with such disrespect. IMHO one of the reasons QC has turned into the mess it is. His leadership is not just lacking but actually harmful to those around him. Now his commercials for Scripps just show what an attention junkie he is.
