Thread regarding L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. layoffs

Frozen Turkeys Aren't Enough...

For those of us who have toiled in the endless nepotism, cronyism, botulism? that is L-3 CS-West, a frozen turkey just isn't enough to show appreciation for us. While Evan drives around in his flashy sports cars (flirting with QA or Ops ladies), while Suzy adorns another Lincoln MKZ (or whatever), while Brunson decorates his 5th avenue apartment with recently commissioned self-portraits of him with Christ (wait....that's Carson, or is it?), while Mr. COO (which is really just a code word for Chief Obsolescent Old-guy) spends a week's paycheck on his next coiffure, we workers get a cryogenically frozen slab of poultry slaughtered in some lowly cryotherapy chamber and thrown (like a deflated football) from the back of some food truck. This cannot stand. This shan't stand. This won't stand. Workers of CSW unite! Unite against these cruel turkeys that, even after subtle torture in a 350 degree oven chamber, appear dry and shriveled on our dinner tables. Let us start a campaign for better Thanksgiving gifts, and this narrator would like to suggest one now: the "man-bun". Yes, ladies and hipsters, everywhere: let us accessorize our Trump-like coifs with the "man-bun". Ah, the man-bun: the only accessory that makes a middle-aged balding man appear to have hair like Yojimbo.

Look you whiney old prick, I have no idea why YOU have a job. You can't spell "whiney", much less fill out a time card. If you like the company you work for, then f--- off and stay. Those idiots at the top got where they are through nepotism, cronyism, wealthy contacts and friends, and a lot of a-- kissing.....f--- them....while you chose a path with all the other sheep: of doing exactly what they say, of nodding your head like the good little "yes man" you are. Stay the same and shut the hell up anyway...don't be thankful for being a slave...

Look you whinny little bastard.... you have a job...if you don't like that job or the company you work for then go the f*** on and quit.

Those well to do guy chose a path in life and took steps to get them where they are.... Good for them....

While you chose a path that puts you right where you are now. Change it or shut the hell up and be thankful.

I think the board needs to redistribute some of that Executive Cash stash to the hard-working employees of CSW. When was the last time an OPM got a raise?

@ Some Dude - be thankful you make 25% of what you made before. I'm not even sure your current earnings are justified.

Be thankful you have a good job. Lost mine there in the layoffs and now 75% of what I was earning... A free turkey would be nice.

They are giving us the bird. That's the turkey. But the John s and ho's that run this place that get the bonus's and don't show an ounce of appreciation will be singing the songs of the holidays. You should just be greatful for your job loosers.

Did anyone else notice that there is a "printable Butterball Turkey coupon" being advertised on this page? Maybe CSW leadership should print that out and put it in the budget. Disgraceful that it is even being suggested that the frozen turkey is being phased out. As long as the Execs get a big fat bonus, I guess.

Getting a big fat "nothing" at CSW for Thanksgiving this year. CSW leadership isn't "thankful" for any of us, and they are showing it.

They are not giving out turkeys this year. It's not in the budget.
