Please share info on how you found this site. Just curios, we need to have more customers see this. Also, we should have more workers here exchanging info and ideas. I was searching for WFM job cuts on yahoo and this came up first. Than I got hooked.

@ErNadZF-4Oqu You are a regional shill. Stop lying it's not going to protect your job.
Heard about it from the deadbeats who got let go. Those of us left are better without you . Move on,let us work in peace.Customers are not complaining, workloads are fair, expectations reasonable. You were spoiled by a very soft culture that is different now .Not worse just different.Fact at my store...basket size up as is customer count and cost per item. All signs of a healthy business. Moral is better with the malingerers too.Not a sermon, just the facts.
Reddit when the ahit hit the fan on the eastcoast..then thia site popped up and exploded in the days following the east coast demise. So i was pretty well prepared for my "meeting" here in sw.
I knew pretty early on. I had suspected something in the works weeks before. Then a friend calls and tells me that all the buyers in her store got fired. Different region, though, so strangely my group was spared. For now.
Searched news about layoffs
Too bad I didn't know about it before I was laid off.
I found this the night before the layoffs began happening in the MA. Checked it that whole week, then stopped. I didn't know people were still posting things here. Looks like the climate inside the company is still one of apprehension and distrust.
My PBS told me about it during the first week of layoffs. I've been very grateful for the posts and communication. Generally we aren allowed to speak and share experiences at Whole Foods. I have found the support on this site to be very uplifting.
