Google is hiring lots of hardware engineers and is building its own processor.
It is not interested in qualcomm, but Qualcomm engineers. Lots of qualcomm enginers arw getting offers.
This will speed up the collapse, too bad.

Those Qualcomm engineers with high titles (Sr Staff, Principal) were not able to pass Google technical interviews. Most of them haven't write a line of code for years.

From what i heard from the grapevines....most (not all) QCT engineers are not making it through Google interview. Especially the one who have been at Q, and worked all their career life only at Q and for long time 10 - 12+ years... Not sure why, possibly these folks are too complacent and outdated seems like...

911 Google purchased motorola to acquire the patents., most of the employees were axed. They had no intention of building lots of hardware. It is more likely a chinese firm will purchase QCT, but if it is Goog or Intel I am sure they will do the same as they did with motorola. Strip the company of all IP and fire all the staff.
