202556 is right. The few companies sitting on cash will be using that to stay aloat through these depressed prices. Not burn it all on acquisitions.
Stupid post. Every oil company has assets for sale. BUT. You first have to have a buyer with cash or the ability to borrow it. That would be NO ONE right now.
At this rate, CHK won't be around when prices are high. That may not be for 18 more months. Already lost 80% of its value in a year. You follow trends much?

n00b - don't you remember rule #1, "Buy low, sell high"? Prices are low mmmkay? You don't sell when prices are low. mmmkay? You wait till prices are high before you sell or else you'll end up homeless on the street. mmmkay?
