I have spent the last year of my life organising my live so I can live outside of the womb of SLB. I am on the way through the door now I have a plan and now I need the money to get me started. I can save )I do have most of the cash saved) or I can wait for SLB to pay for it with a package. - What have you done it the last year to prepare for life without SLB? Have you wasted the time you have been given or have you just waited and hoped? I hope most of you have an idea of what you will do when the next round of redundancies occur.

Been with schlumberger for 11 years now so a payout would send me on my way in a nice way. But looking at oil I think a change would be good with or without a payout.
The moral is low, hard to focus. I am late on completing my advance. No savings here...
I am ready to end the suspense of if and when lay offs ate coming. 9 years with Schlumberger.

What is redundancies? I just left my job and started with SLB this year. Have not been around layoffs and would rather not be. This is stressful..

I am young and only 2 years at SLB. I have no savings and jusy got maried. This stuff is really stressing me out. I am 4 honking of going back to school.
It is worse on phones. What package are you expecting from SLB? How many years are you with SLB. For me, I had 2 surgeries in 2015, a baby, had to buy a new AC unit in my home, and a new car as the old one dieD (RIP) I spent all my savings... Yeah I was on the CHO... So I am in the catagory of hope that I do not get let go. But it is out of my hands. God is great, work is good, and SLB employees are great. There is nothing good about being lsis off. It messes with your mind. Unless you plan to retire anyways then I can see an incentive...
