Halliburton living in a dream world. It won't happen. Both companies will go broke. They are depending on each other to stay alive.
It isn't rocket science. SLB had virtually no product line overlap with CAM. Thus no anti-competitive concerns. That reality does not exist for HAL - BHI.
Interesting. Just Monday, Halliburton said, "it is "confident" the deal will past muster with government regulators in the U.S. and other countries, who are expected to review it closely".
