Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

What's wrong with calling those terrorists as "Islamic terrorists"?

After all those extremists shoot innocent folks who cannot recite verses of the Koran to them. The criteria to kill is whether or not you can recite verses of the Koran. So much for the religion of tolerant and peace.

As long as Baker Hughes is operating in the Arab countries, it means indirect support for these Terrorists. You contribute to their wealth.

Obama still wants to take more Syrian refugees without full security screening even though 31 governors said no. Let's focus on our homeless folks and laid off people before bringing in and taking care of those muslims. Saudi Arabia is closer to Syria and they got plenty of money to help their muslim cousins.

When the Syrian refugees starting fleeing to Europe anyone with half a brain could see it would be an open route for IS even a small number can cause untold damage! Radicalized European Muslims who posed little danger other than words will be persuaded by these IS members infiltrating their communities to go that step further. Europe cant even control its own convicted murderers and rapists from moving freely around Europe what hope have we of them controlling IS from moving around IS don't walk around with flags and guns when crossing the European borders? The USA has every right to be cautious in accepting refugees as for Europe I think its already to late.

Anonymous204929- They simply use the excuse that these terrorists are not real muslims, therefore there is no connection between these crimes and islam. It's basically a cop out in order to avoid facing reality.

Why moderate muslins don't stand up and condemn these extremist muslins? Or at least don't chant the stupid Allahu Akbar during pre-match minute's silence for the victims of Paris attacks.

Muslim countries don't allow churches to be built in their countries, and yet when they come to Western countries they demand to be allowed to build Mosques . many of the mosques preach radical Islam and hate towards non-muslims.There is no freedom of religion In Muslim countries

I'm a liberal and I have no problem calling Muslims terrorists and I also have no problem calling white people terrorist or anyone else who creates terrorist acts. Republicans don't seem to think all the gun loving hate spewing nuts in America are terrorists but they kill a lot more than Muslims do.

It appears that what these left wing liberals believe is that since not ALL muslims are terrorists, then it is wrong to call terrorists muslim, even if they are muslim. While I am aware that obviously not ALL muslims are terrorists, I don't see an issue with pointing out that a person's theological beliefs contributed to their motivation for committing a crime or act of terror. This appears to have been the case in the Paris attacks along with the motivation behind the ISIS movement in general. I could see a valid argument regarding a cartel member in Mexico who commits crimes, but also happens to wear a gold and shiny cross around his neck. He might be wearing that cross cause it looks nice or out of habit, and that wouldn't necessarily mean he is a Christian terrorist or something like that. The motivation behind a cartel member's crimes more often than not is greed, and not some theological belief. On the other hand, an ISIS member would seem to be on the other end of that spectrum, in terms of motivation. They would value their beliefs way more than greed or personal finances. Quite frankly, the religious aspect of these ISIS attacks is too much to ignore. And no, I am not a right wing neo con either, just trying to be neutral and reasonable and examine the situation from a distance. This is just what I have come to think about it over time.
