Pls dont be afraid of posting the name of the directors who are abusive. This way people can avoid her like a plague. Good luck in your future.

The OP is too naive. HR is just on the side of the management. They are no 'judge'. Paid to just pretend as if they will listen to lower nodes.

Looks like HR was slashed almost 25%. At least there's some sanity in the world

HR doesn't give a S^%^!! The lack of professionalism from my former director is astonishing. What's even more astonishing is that she acts this way in front of her own director and he lets her get away with it! He sits there and cowers in his chair while she insults, berates, and literally throws papers across the table at someone that reports to him! And he does not stick up for his own report! The other person that was in the meeting, was so disgusted, they got up, threw their hands up and left the room. I've sat in my office and listened to her do the same thing to him (her boss) and he just walks away. Did a 3rd party review on her and wrote all of the stuff she does, what does her boss do? Comes to me and says "thanks for being honest, but this is going to make it really hard for me to review her." Total BS!! And HR does nothing. My last day was yesterday, and I'm relieved I do not have to put up with, 1 - an out-of-control director, and 2, - a pussy-whipped director.

Directors seems to think they can talk, judge, give unsolicited advice to any juniors... Please have these crude folks learn and know that they are at work in US, not their home town and respect boundaries. No unsolicited advice being shoved onto junior engineers who are accountable to their leads/managers, not to all/any directors. Respect boundaries and know your domains when talking down to other folks. Constructive advice is good, but judging people right on their face and belittling them is down right unacceptable.

HR is the most incompetent group at Qualcomm, they only kiss ass of their masters and pretend to be on employee side....

Is it permissible to secretly record 1:1 or small group meetings (face to face only, not on phone)? Either video or audio only. I feel this is the only way to get evidence
