You can't be scared of safety men, they are as harmless as an admin assistant..
Safety is the most important job in the company, we all talk about the 7billion in debt, but what about our 7billion radar cards. Safety is the only reason we aren't bankrupt, they are the glue holding this company together. The always show up around hoping they can mooch a meal, spend money cruising around looking for safety violations, and keep adding more idiotic things to do to justify their jobs. They are the bee's knee's. When i grow up, inwant to be a safety man.
So what is housed there?
We all know someone messed up on the spelling. The Longview Distribution Center isn't going anywhere. Wouldn't make much since to close it down when so much is housed there. The only way I personally seeing it go any where is if Weatherford shuts the doors.
All operations will come out of houston, after the first of the year, unless lobgview is willing to take some of the load
the barrel plant is closing as of January 4th
Too many gays in Longview...
Longview will be running ghost crew at barrel plant but as far as the other shops wish I knew more. Get sick of the way management handles shit but they don't give a shit when it doesn't effect their life.
Lobgview is safe because HR can't find it. Once they do, however, all bets are off.
