Why? ATCO Electric and ATCO Gas terminated so many employees, but why? It cannot be because of the economy since they both delivery companies with captive customers and both have been doing exceptionally well business wise. Other delivery companies like EPCOR and ENMAX have not done any terminations and have in fact done the opposite (relatively). Also they have let go a lot of good experience. Did they not learn anything from past downsizing. They are not oil & gas and you should not see what you see in terms of terminations which compares and exceeds (relatively)oil & gas.
