From my experience as an I & E technician for the company, NOV is okay, except they have crappy products, worse training, bad engineers and or implementation of updated technology and the management on the ground level have no idea what the hell they're doing. At least on the DDS side. But if it's planned obsolescence and ensuring ongoing maintenance revenue, maybe they're doing too quick and too good a job. Now that I'm a GE employee after layoffs at NOV, I think they would clean up the place by adding another level of (micro)management, no sales force, and 50 new training modules per month for each employee. I kind of hope they both implode and some semblance of competence takes their place.

NOV is code for Hell
From what I'm hearing, NOV will be coming to us.
