One of those executives (not Sheila) spent $500,000 of company money on phone sex with an account manager from a service company.
Not surprising inasmuch HR is the right-hand tool of management. Human Resources is a buffer between the executives and the company management. When the executives want change, they order HR to implement their will.
Sheila Feldman ceased to work at ConocoPhillips in April 2015. The details of the termination are unknown. The statements regarding her involvement with layoffs are suspect due to the timing of the layoffs and the timing of the termination. And as noted she advocated for employee initiatives resulting in conflicts with upper management and the resulting termination.
She was let go IN OCTOBER RIGHT before the first layoffs, because she didn't agree with the
Lance's employee ranking system or layoffs. They are just USING her name!
You'll notice her signature on the approvals for the next wave of layoffs. Kudos to her for getting this high-paying job, but I won't congratulate her for being the next person who may send me packing. No sir!
The ConocoPhillips Vice President-Human Resources, Real Estate and Facilities Services, 2014-2015.
Who is she, the Queen?
Yes congrats to Sheila Feldman.
