Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Stock breaking through glass floor.

It's official! COP stock is finally below 2009 lows of 35 dollars/share. Will the overleveraged big oil companies default and take down the big banks? If it does, you can expect COP to drop another 50% from here. That's what happens when you are generating negative cash flow with $25 billion in debt! Investors are finally starting to figure out that 2+2 doesn't equal 8.1% dividend yield and as more fear piles on, you can expect its stock plunging into the abyss in the coming months. What kind of retard management spins off their downstream department without hedging their oil prices? That's right! COP is the only company dumb enough to do it! Greed kills, and I feel sorry for the sheeple currently working at COP... Good luck to all!

Who is first in line from the proceeds of a bankruptcy? Not the employees. Not the stockholders. The banks could care less if ConocoPhillips goes off the cliff called bankruptcy. The $25 billion in debt is $25 billion in we got you by the balls...
