I am in GBS (Mid West) and our pipeline does not look good, this is across groups - not sure how to interpret this - are we hitting a temporary rough patch or are we really hitting a recession-like hole that will result with yet another round of layoffs.
In 8 years here I've experienced my share of pain, however this one is a bit different as the company as a whole is weak and we've been retreating for 10+ consecutive quarters.
Yet, there is very little that I or you, as individuals, can do here - you can turn to yourself, focus on your next steps and get ready - network, get your resume ready, if you are on a client - explore opportunities there, that's always a good way to secure a solid exit.
