My heart goes out to those expectant TM s that have nothing else beyond the birth of their child to look forward to post-birth. To name but a few ErnestYoung (about 10months) , Cisco (6months) Google (5months) all PAID TIME OFF. This company offers nothing (besides your own PTO if any) or short-term disability which you contribute towards. Not even a ($100 gift card for basics) and they claim to promote team member happiness. As a male it's about time we stand-up for our working WFM mothers. Let's not forget ad least 70 percent of our guests are female! STANDUP NOW

We can do "whole trade",whole planet,whole kids,etc..but still fail with maternity leave....

Tech and finance lead the way in maternity leave. Google also has nap rooms and a gym. You work retail. You're not developing a new iPhone. I don't like it anymore than you do, but it's the reality of the situation. Moaning about it on here is the least effective course of action. We all know wf lack of maternity leave is awful, but the company's who do offer amazing packaged are few and far in between and are def white collar jobs

Until the people in this company, this country realize (again) a lesson that needs relearning we will all continue to make less, get less benefits while the top 1% give us crumbs for our labor. BTW a 100 dollar gift card is crumbs!
Look into maternity leave in those "socialist countries" they are so getting screwed over……NOT.
Think WF will waste our time again and bus us all to an area they've rented (with money they could of payed us instead) so they can tell us how bad! bad! bad! Unions are…..I so hope they do. Dare you management! Think they will serve us some Cherry Choco Ration Kool-Aide? and will it be Organic?
Several pregnant women at my store over the years have been forced to resign..i think the stl is afraid of lawsuits and disability claims...if you are pregnant do not work at whole foods market south beach..
