Division 07 is traditionally Global Technology Services division of IBM. Lately, without employees even knowing about it, many have been moved to Division 2F. In all my years, my direct manager was always in the same Division. It was even hard to apply for jobs internally for another Division. I am currently in 2F and my manager remains in 07. The difference, is that I have been layed off. From a Senior Manager, I have heard that all employees in Division 2F will be released....just a matter of time. In my opinion, IBM knew they were going to lay off massive amounts of employees, and changed the Severance Package, from up to 6 months (based on the number of years worked) to 90 working days and 1 month of severance pay.
