Can you guys please quit commenting about getting probed by someone's "Dead Wood" and having fantasies about getting a woodie, and giving the Deadwood poster "Head" and all this perverted crap and get back to layoff's,ETC, and related topics? That includes YOU, self-respecting Chevroid, "2rba"

@FFqVYf3-1axw: You did exactly as any self-respecting Chevroid would. Your kind does not like to read and needs everything explained to them three times in a row. Chevron is full of your type. So let me explain to you: The fantasies are in the "Deadwood Poster" s head, and my comment was about his words. Try and learn to read before they chuck you out with the rest...obviously, you don't have a lot of prospects outside this infested company.

The ESP is advertised as a 1st half of 2016 exercise. ETC in scope 2nd half.

Hasn't it already been anounced that there will be a beta rom (alpha part 2) later this year to further trim the tech and support service functions? After the upstream enterprise selection rom going on now there will be less demand for these other groups.

Swirling panty-waist @FFqVYf3-avh, please keep your perverted fantasies to yourself. If it's not layoff related no one wants to read about it. I take it you are a piece of the dead wood that these guys talk about needing to be cut.

after BU's and projects downsize, there will be a decrease in funding in ETC resulting in a possible ROM later in the year. hopefully it isn't as long as alpha

Looks like somebody has a lot of fantasies about woods and panties swirling around in his head. Been suffering from wood syndrome lately?

Lots of Dead Wood left on the tree that needs to be cut to keep it from falling down, Girls & Boyz. Don't take your panties off yet.

SPOC was created as a cushy position for a friend ..... it grew into a monster. You see it everywhere at Chevron. That's the difference between CVX and XOM. It is unfortunate that incompetent people and redundant positions still remain, and lots of very good folks were let go.

Yeah...those fancy "forums" being a thing of the past, SPOC keeps the forums people on the payroll with nothing to do. Go figure!

Yup, if SPOC remains as is, ETC still has lots of fat to trim. If 1/2 of SPOC disappeared tomorrow, absolutely no impact at all!

ETC has a lot of fat left to be trimmed. Take a look into SPOC and you will see what I mean.

I have friends in ETC. They are still worried. Any business unit that is an overhead cost, not a revenue generator, should be concerned.
