@FGCFLc9-1nyb sorry I spelled poorly. I have become too dependent on spell check.

I do understand the meaning of blue collar worker. Do you consider someone who performs the same function for every product that is designed using the same basic set of skills, just being told the minimal changes you must make to accommodate the new product a blue collar worker? After all, that is all that a textile worker did. After all, that is all that an autoworker did? After all, that is all many QCT software, hardware and test workers do. Just like 20th century blue collar jobs, it is relatively easy to export 21st century blue collar jobs.

Many QCT software, hardware and test workers are doing the 21st century blue collar work.

Would you prefer the term assembly line work?

demand did not outstrip the supply. Thats pure BS.American companies don't want domestic engineers . <<<

It's not true google is a place where american engineers are welcome. The problem is not american companies, the problem is Qualcomm. Given a brilliant american engineer and a cheap foreign engineer, Qualcomm will choose the cheap engineer every single time. every single one. They NEVER go for quality, they ALWAYS go for quantity. And that is why the company has no technical leadership right now - because with cheap foreign engineers, you truly get what you pay for ...

-idd is obviously not from the US as he does not have an understanding of the terms "white collar" and "blue collar", but instead heard the references as "white color" and

"Blue color" somewhere which have no meaning in his context. Either that or he can't spell very well..

So @FGCFLc9-cpj, where were you when the Challenger exploded? If you were not well out of school before 9/11, then you were to late to be any help filling the demand.

Demand for engineers did outstrip supply. It did not outstrip warm bodies. However, "do you want fries with that" is not the only requirement to work in engineering.

Which indians? The brown ones or the red ones?

The white ones stole the land from the red ones by the way, when are the whites leaving?
