Sounds like this is a regional issue (HA! see what I did there?) Because the best coast has some wonderful RM's that support you.

Most fall under the category of 'Seagull management.' They flap in, land on your work load, make a lot of noise before pooping on everything and flying away. The heck with them!
I fully agree. Regional managers never help, they simple take time for your time, and find small things to pick on. Helping by bagging merchandise. That's lots of help.
Who wants the RM in their stores, ever? All they do is look for negative things to criticize you about.
No.....perhaps the regional managers should help out during rush. There is no excuse for not helping out wherever help is needed. The stores are the ones that have face to face contact with the customer and are overloaded during rush. This RM should be fired.
Maybe if you actually did your job and did it well you wouldn't have to worry about where your RM is. You are the worthless part of Follett and someone who should have been riffed.
