Quit if you don't like it. You bunch of tards.
Glad to be gone. My last "manager" had no previous Supervisory experience at Baker and apparently didn't know the meaning of the word. The equivalent of a military "90 day wonder" he Insisted on regular weekly meetings, presumably to hear the sound of his own voice. Had only a passing knowledge of my work or my dedication to it and that was good enough for him. Exemplary reviews for decades meant little to nothing. Never truly felt I had his support and was systematically marginalized within the group. His legacy will almost certainly be the eventual dismantling of this now dysfunctional team.
Managers stay. Other can be laid off.
Some groups have a 1 to 1 ratio of managers to employees and these managers DONOT generate any money at all.... they expect employees to produce enough for all
I could not agree more! We have managers with one person reporting to them, and they are the only direct report to the person above them. It is ridiculous!
