Let's end affirmative action and reverse quotas once and for all, and let college admissions to the best schools be completely based on merit, where the applicant will not use his first or last name or be allowed to fill out their gender or ethnicity. Every applicant will be assigned ed a random number that the college admissions board will only see, along with the students academic performance.

If that were to happen, it would be fair...

Asians admitted into the top rank schools, in the absence of reverse quotas, would then jump from 25-30%...to 50-65%.. And that would be a good thing. Since opportunities would go to the ones that are most qualified in math and science. Bring it on.

I total am for eliminating affirmative action and quota systems. The question is...can your kids compete and keep up?

First of all, the term Asian is just a little too vague. Would people from Canada, United States, and Mexico like to be referred to as North Americans? Or people from Brazil and Chile as South Americans? Asia is a vast continent. Maybe we should be vaguer still and refer to ourselves as earthlings or descendants of Adam and Eve or Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
