Thread regarding National Oilwell Varco Inc. layoffs

HOW SHITTY NOV OF CONROE IS

I don't know but since the NOV in Conroe changed insurance they suck the CEO must have been thinking out of his ass cause now it cost the employees more and since they don't give raises ever it would probably work out best if they did lay us off at least that away we could get help from the gov.cause NOV doesn't care about their employees only about the management and putting out shitty parts case the DO NOT CARE ABOUT EMPLOYEES ONLY THEIR SELVES and that is a shame they have some good people working for them

Nov was a god awful company to work for. Im just grateful i got out of there when i did. It was like a sweatshop over there. 3 years no raises layoffs cheaper materials no bonuses no raises no evaluations. They couldnt even pay their bills on time. Hey youre going to do double the work for less pay and just be glad you still have a job. Dont complain. b---s---

The down grade in heath insurance and increase in premiums is due to obama care. Whether or not you want to believe that, it's the truth. There was a 42% increase on our existing cadi health care. NOV could not afford to continue to pay those rates. Let's face it, obama care is designed to roll everybody into a one payer system. If you want to blame somebody for crappy insurance, blame people who voted for obama.

Yes it is BCBS but the premium increased and there is a deductible and an out of pocket. Conroe has sucked since the day NOV took over. And many people agree that NOV does not care about loyal, intelligent employees. They are best at destroying a successful company and treating their employees like second class citizens. And everyone has the choice to walk away but it is very disconcerting when you have given the majority of your career to one company.

There are a few things that can be done to solve your problem. First, find another job, second do some quality work and stop crying about raises, we all want more money. Next, walmart is always hiring.
