As far as 'trickle down' the petroleum industry is a great example! What other industry offers six figure salaries to those with little more than a high school education. Sure the hours are long, it's hard work and as we all see (and should know) it is cyclical. But people of this industry are up to the challenge.

The GOP was bought and payed for by the elect few billionaires. And it all started with The old Gipper Ronald Reagan. So tell how is that trickle down effect working for you Mr. Republican?
