COP "Management"

Our so called "management" has: 1. Got rid of the refining division that would have saved the company during the price crash. 2. Made countless bad investment decisions during the boom 3. Went crazy hiring during the boom 4. Decimated the company over the last 12 months 5. Did not adhere to the SPIRIT values of the company

Considering all things equal, COP has underperformed most other major and independent oil companies. Isn't it time for a management shapeup? They underperformed during good times and they are certainly not doing well in this crash.

What part of SPIRIT Values did Ryan & ELT break in misleading the Stockholders, Employees and Analyst?

What would happen if a low level employee lied on their financial or to their bosses! You and I know what would happen! Time to can their asses without golden payoffs!

Anybody else throws "SPIRIT" values around needs a kick. Like they EVER meant anything.

Yes, Ryan and management has a credibility issue. Perhaps SPIRIT Values mean nothing to them except the expectation that employees follow them! Can Lance and others.....

Mulva also received a $260 million golden parachute. Instead, it should have been a $0 kick in the ass.

What about buying Burlington Resources? They bought it for $35 billion, and its worth probably less than $10 billion today. Mulva got $25 million that year for this brilliant decision.
