HAL corporate recently had a paid speaker present/talk to employees His fees for these types of engagements are 20k to 35k. Estimates are that 300 employees attended during working hours. So that comes out to over $600/attendee. Now this was webcast so that goes down. I question leadership when these types of activities take place when at the same time asking employees for ideas to cut costs...

You know what was a huge waste of money, whoever decided to give everyone iphones, most the people didn't need them or use them
Nothing better than to have motivational speakers to improve the morale of the pee-ons.
Just another example of some outsider selling management a bill of goods, but one really has to wonder how much kickback was involved.
