Rig was/is NOV's top money producer, however Rig is also NOV's biggest risk. Rig has not met market goals, but this did not prohibit them from handing out bonuses. IMHO Rig is the division of NOV that others are watching closely, because once it drops low enough they will be able to purchase it for less. However, whomever decides to buy it, should do their research BEFORE making an offer or doing a hostile takeover, because Rig/NOV has several outstanding lawsuits pending and more are in the pipeline. If you are able to leave on your own terms, then it would behoove you to do so. If not, then I would suggest discretely removing items from your work-space, as to not throw up a red flag to anyone about what you are doing.
