The continuing service agreements are a joke! Doesn't management and sales realize this is a flash in the pan! No good can come of it, it is a huge amount of work with absolutely no pay off for the company. Our customers will never allow us to make money off of them, they prefer to get 'er done and damn the consequences.

This is not good at all for GE! "Make it happen, Captain!" is the motto at NOV, and they are laying off quarterly it seems like at this point. Now they are worried about revenue and want to know why they aren't making any profit. Too late to focus on that end of the spectrum!! Customers are now accostumed to getting whatever the hell they want, for "free" essentially.
The employees are the ones who are greatly affected by all this obviously.
Customer is always right, right?
