I know how many musical chairs are left for KR. How many are expected to be left standing in the other assets? We got hit hard on the horizontal team.

It is known by more people than just management that SJVBU assets are being peddled around to see how much interest there is in selling it off. So far, not enough interest at the going price Chevron wants to get. But, soon it will be sold. If there's any truth to the rumor that we'll be adding headcount to that Business Unit, is because when we sell asset by asset, the Chevron employees will the asset will go to the buyer (for the agreed upon minimum of 1 year). So if you are sent there, think of it as being corralled for sale. When sold, there is no Chevron SESP severance package for you.
I believe the new SJVBU org chart cut %15.
SJVBU received an email Johnson on Friday. We will be adding to headcount not laying off.
So whats the story for SJV? Aren't they the only BU actually making money?

All got hit hard. Very smart of this fu**ed up fortune 50 (may be) company to make 60% people nonproductive for 2 months to cut prob 20%.
