@FVhEkk0-1vxf what is your source ? is this posted anywhere internally ?
Employees left standing are sent home, but remain active employees on the payroll for 60 days. Your benefits continue unchanged. After you are terminated, you get your severance pay (typically 1 month later), but continue with subsidized COBRA medical at same employee premiums for 6 months. Be sure to apply for State unemployment benefits on Day 1 after being terminated. Unemployment benefits run for a max of 6 months at $465/week in Texas. Get informed of the process for everything now, not after you are tossed out.
how long will "left standing" employees continue to be on the payroll and receive insurance benefits ?
Early April is what I was told.
As soon as Watson finishes golfing.
Supposedly there will be an announcement on the jobs on 4 April, 2016.
