Thread regarding Education Management Corporation layoffs

We keep getting all these new hires who actually believe this is a legitimate job then 4 weeks into it they relive that they are in a sweatshop

Then they realize that they are bottom feeders that are trapped until they start the process of finding a real job all over again.

There's not much out there so EDMC is better than nothing plus you can suck as an AR and take a buy out 6 months later. It's the veterans with high pay who should be worried not the new hires who have school loans due. The sad truth is most companies who see EDMC on your resume won't take a chance on you if you work there more than a year. After 5 years working for Ai it's all about the pretty lies we tell students and the ugly truths management tell us.

Whoa what brand do you work for where they're actually hiring. AUO slowly becomes a ghost town until they do layoffs again. When a manager is asked why fired people aren't being replaced all we're told is that there haven't been any good confidantes. It's transparent lies like that, that kill moral. Yet they wonder why no one has any loyalty.
