Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

New store support teams

All those ppl that supported new store openings! Complete waste of company resources! Only 10% of those tms truly cared about helping us get on our feet-it was a gathering of Egos- "let me show off how awesome, cool, efficient, goal driven, computer literate, most informed most educated etc!" You all make me sick, walking around with your coffee and back packs looking around just to "be seen " talking aloud about flights and hotel rooms like that makes you too important to empty the trash-f--- off- ok-that's what we really thought of you and YES all those smiles WERE fake

It will be more peaceful once there are long-overdue changes at the top.

Hey, FhBwRcA-1qit: Exactly, you are an outsider. Therefore you have no idea what you're talking about, and your reference is pointless. Read through the comments dating back several months and what you will understand. I'm saying educate yourself. Read the history of why people were deluded and deceived, read how laughably incompetent the executive team has been, read WHY people devoted so much energy to trying to be great only to have those efforts repeatedly rebuffed due to nepotism, disorganization, ineptitude and egomania at both the global and regional levels and perhaps then you will be able to offer an informed comment. But overall, what you need to take away is that the company isn't changing. The executives have learned nothing and in fact they are digging the hole DEEPER. That's not bitterness, it's FACT. It's sheer insanity to rely on the same crew of idiots to turn the company around who got us into the mess in the first place. They're digging in, rewarding the loser regional officers, and FIRING the very people closest to the customer with superior ideas and skills. Moreover, they're now borrowing an incredible one billion dollars in a desperate move to shore up the stock and enable them to hand out gargantuan stock options to the very people who SHOULD BE LONG GONE. This is an organization that is in my opinion doomed. Educate yourself prior to commenting and save your lectures for the executives, the board and top management.

When we launched I brought a pricing issue to the attention of one of the coordinator's hired groupies. She said "we don't have time for that, we're busy." I burnt a hole in her eyes and right there in front of her giggling co-worker and said "There's absolutely no call for such rudeness. We're ALL busy. Here's the information. It's your job to fix it, or don't, but I will not be spoken to that way." I had to threaten several uppity regional assholes who got ill with me. As soon as I said "Hey it seems like you have an axe to grind. Let's take this up with your boss and see how he/she feels about your attitude"... They ALWAYS backed down. Bunch of smug, arrogant, privileged jerks.
