Funny how they were harping on getting access via in our region, never happened and now theyre switching again, lol.
Also, why bother even doing real chalks if thats the case. Get prints designed to look like chalks like HEB does half the time.
Ahh... the signmakers swan song...
SLAW will be replacing FileMaker and AccessVia...new way to make signs and tags. Teams are going to be trained to make their own signs. New chalk look is part of the brand refresh that includes the new fonts and logos. They specifically want to get away from realistic portraits and drawings and have a more simplistic style.
What is the new "chalk process" and this SLAW? Been gone for a few months, but still curious as to how things are unfolding in satan's colon aka the signmakers office.
I'm guessing the position will be greatly reduced or will be cut entirely after SLAW rolls out.
This is torture. I really thought one of us would get a severance. Damn now we're still in the dark and this ratty place gets rattier (MA).
I'm suspicious of stores that still have more than one artist though, since the new chalk style is definitely meant to speed things up and cut labor.
I would honesly just want to be cut at this point to be honest.
With the new brand standards updates, our GA positions will be around for a little while.
No, haven't heard anything yet. I'm taking a vacation until the 11th though, so if my job disappears while I'm on vacay I'll feel relieved, honestly!
Have you heard anything then? I can't imagine the position is going to last since they need to cut even more labor.
