PPS is now officially under pressure pumping. GE has bought completions already and finalizing purchase of PP. announcement will be made after Q1 earnings call.

Surely Pps can mean pressure pumping stimulation but what we are looking at here is the PPS that isn't yet pressure pumping stimulation...at least that is what common sense dictates.

First, Pps is a plant and pipeline service division, that does a solid business in several areas.
Secondly, there are bits of colaborating info regarding GE interests in parts of Halliburton and Baker.
Lastly, it really doesnt matter what division controls the unit.
I imagine the big difference would be being purchased the GE could mean business as usual where being purchased by Halliburton would mean more jobs lost due to cost saving synergies.
