An interesting curiousity. Awhile back someone posted to be choosey about which health insurance plan you pick this upcoming year. The thread was advising stick with company sponsored HSA.
I did. Honestly was about to change to other option. Trying to be as agreeable as possible might have saved my job. I survived the last round.
In between craziness here there are important, very important tidbits.
No harm in some discussion. Best to stay positive. You are in a rat race anyways.
If you think you are your job, then you are in big trouble with a big mind screw if you are laid off. Get your psychology straight.
If you think a job is a job then you will be fine.
I suspect the "bottom" is spring-summer 2016. With people running out of severance and employment insurance/unemployment insurance soon things will become more desperate (now Jan 2016). Then second or third?? wave of layoffs. Keep making choices.
Then from bottom I would say 2 years to recover (some). I guess-estimate barrel will only go to $60-80 for many years. The peak is done with what OPEC is currently plan on doing.
ALL forecasts and guesses on my part...
But who really gives a shit ?better off without the corrupt company anyway ,take there money and go with a smile on ur face while sticking 2 fingers up in the direction of all mangement

are you getting any straight up answers from your management? of course not....they can't exactly say, you will be let go in 3 days. this website has its craziness but it also serves as a great outlet for frustrations and allows us the opportunity to share what we are hearing around the facility. don't like it, don't read it.
