You idiot!!! Read the post. NOV to acquire some of GE's sell offs. Or possible merge with the big boy. You need to read before you shoot off. People like you is what brings great companies down. Hope you just push a broom and not in management but that's how you lead by flying off the handle and trying to suppress. You troll.

This sick poster has been putting out this rumor since last year. There are no talks about acquiring NOV by GE. You're a liar that hopes to see your baseless fantasies come true .... Announcement: It won't!!!

The reason NOV won't shut plants down and let people go is because when prices come back up. NOV will be ready. So before you start throwing rocks and pretend you know all the answers. Please take Eco 101. Nobody wants to let people go and shut places down.

Ahh all bullshit lies ...you also believe Santa Claus will come again at Mardi Gras and you also believe the Easter bunny will make its special appeaeance with Santa Claus on Easter Day. Will there be Santa Claus and the Easter making there or THEIR (lol) appearance? Yes there will be! Pete Miller is no longer with NOV so shut your pie hole and quit blaming people who are no longer with us to defend themselves you moron.

I honestly believe that NOV can and will come thru this. The company is sitting on 1.5B in cash, its downsizing and cutting cost at a rapid pace. And believe it or not plant closings are a must. Pete Miller was great at building the company but he was horrible at running it, of all of the duplicate product companies that was acquired how many was shut down in his time? It’s all about market share people, something like OPEC. Will there be acquisitions? Yes there will be! Take service king in Oklahoma as an example, there bankrupt and prime. Buy them out and shut them down thus increase market share by 25%. It’s how it is and there is nothing we can do about it.

bullshit NOV cannot and will not acquire any company not even the tiniest and most broke. GE is flourishing. NOV is not. Stop hating on companies that are doing 100000000 times better than your NOV and find something better to do

And we all know how it ended with Enron. Maybe someone needs to do some thorough investigations to check on any ongoing corruption. People are afraid to speak out.

NOV will sell off lower performing plants and a reduction in work force to acquire key plants from GE. When oil bottoms out and rebounds NOV will become a major player.

Folks, there will be no acquisition by GE. Any company doing due diligence will notice the Failed management policies of NOV, the irregular fraudulent accounting policies, the sloppy way the plants are ran. There is no Hope for GE. Unfortunately NOV is ran and managed allot like another former Houston based company----Enron !
