Do you know if Macy's Technology is going to be affected by layoffs - I am considering interviewing there and I am not sure if this would be good decision for me as I know that you are going through massive layoffs right now. I am not sure if tech will be affected at all - I am with my current employer for about three years and it's fairly stable over there - sorry for all of you here who lost jobs.

It's true damn true happened to me
Problem with lots of H1B in IFS. Company applied for several GCs even though same skill set is available outside . Middle management is full of politics. Most of them don’t have any management skills. They just promote friends or relatives. Real hard working people are suffering.

Get ready for macys to outsource more USA IT jobs to IBM off shore (India and Slovakia)
macys IT department is a mess. stay away and you will be happy you did.
