My bottom is behind and below my waste. Where's your bottom?

Thanks, @5hlx. You have a valid opinion, which I agree with.
5guw - Another interesting facet to consider. Thanks for your input. Yes, the world is complicated, but probably no more so than it has ever been. It's just that Man now possesses the means and wherewithal to influence, attack, or disrupt on a much grander scale and to unheard of degree. Strange, then, that the old, time-tested methods of subterfuge, intrigue, and terror remain the "go to" tactics, so far anyway. The singularly most important event, to date, in my opinion, in the Middle East, is Russia's rather sudden military presence in Syria, absent countenance, other than the convenient theory that it was to "prop up the Assad regime". The second most important event, again, in MY opinion, was that Russia's presence was met with absolutely NO U.S. resistance. I continue to believe that Assad's presence, while it serves Russian (and Iranian) needs, at the moment, is the least of their primary reasons for going to Syria. I still believe their primary purpose is to, in some fashion, pressure the Saudis into lowering their current rates of oil production in order for world crude prices to rise. Also,... I believe the Russians are prepared to utilize potentially severe measures to accomplish said goal, most especially since the U.S. has abdicated it's historic role as 'arbiter' in the M.E. Putin, if anything, has never been shy in using force to reach (in his estimation) pragmatic ends. Obama has all but bowed at the waist and with a flourish of his skinny arm, waved Vlad forward. IF I am correct, oil prices are likely to soar, and while Obama applauds himself for current low gasoline costs at the pump, let us not forget,... at the outset of his reign of terror he bluntly stated that he considers prohibitively high (fossil fuel) energy costs a sure path toward "clean energy".
Yes, @5fgs. It's clear enough and thanks for for your opinion. I too am not in favor of war or destabilization in the Middle East for the sake of elevating oil prices. Profit is never worth it when it comes to pain, suffering and death. Unfortunately, the agenda of some governments take these things as collateral damage in their quest for dominance, whether for power or religious reasons. It's a complicated world we live in.
Ok, my rebuttal. I am not in favor of a destabilized Middle East just for the sake of higher oil prices. This is in response to the statement "hope you are right" referring to a prior post concerning geopolitical strife.
Is that clear enough for you f---ing titty babies?
@4jar - don't pay mind to the simpletons that troll this site. You are correct and it would serve everyone best if you express an opinion or rebuttal with a point of view, not an insult. That said, I will express my opinion on subject [Where is the bottom?]... From the looks of the reversal in oil prices this morning, I think a panic can result in oil going down into the mid to low 20's before the end of this month. I see CVX has also turned from positive to negative. The bottom is wherever the sentiment of investors (speculators) will take it.
4juv - Woops. Failed to thoroughly read your post. My apology. Will still take issue with your presumption of motive for 31xa, however. Given the weak-kneed coward we currently have in the Whitehouse,... Russian aggression/intervention/provocation in any potential conflict in the M.E. is likely to go, unanswered. Obama has taken the U.S. out of the equation, and given his tendencies to talk big, then do nothing, perhaps we're better off (given a gay POTUS) we DO stay out of it. All the more reason to believe that Russia has a few "cards" they may yet play. If Putin suspects (I think he KNOWS, based upon his assessment, so far, of Obama) that he is pretty much free to do as he wishes, and there will be no repercussions from Barry. That would imply that the likelihood for escalation of any hostilities "might" go no further than that region and involve no other force or nation sufficient to ignite WWIII. Hell,... we can't even predict oil prices, so it's all just conjecture, anyway.
4juv - Just stating my opinion, moron. If you can't take it, don't read it. It's really that simple. Rather than jump to presumptions about any motive(s) I may have for my post, it would be vastly more productive if you would state YOUR opinion, or rebut mine. Otherwise,... you serve no useful purpose. Rather similar to what you do, in your job, I would suppose. In fact,... your knee-jerk response to my post (which, if I do say so, myself, was both factual and offered (my) analysis of what is likely to happen) was EXACTLY like the typical response, in many Chevron meetings, to thought/ideas/opinions which do not conform to "the herd's". Then, to add insult to injury, you presume that others wish to read your drivel,... "talk about being self centered"!
31xa - Are you seriously hoping for a potential WWIII just so you can keep your job? Talk about being self-centered.
3pgc hope you are right
The market still gives no recognition to possible geopolitical strife,... which is becoming a distinct possibility in the M.E. I continue to believe that, even if the Saudis and the Iranians don't "go at it" of their own volition, that Russia will be tempted to light the fuse, since a major reason for their presence HAS to be: To seek a means of reducing/restricting Saudi production, in order for crude prices to rise. Current prices do none of these players any good. I could be wrong, but,....
That's right. @1qqy summed it up correctly.
More layoffs... Dividend cut at some point... Stock collapse.. Even more layoffs.. You get the drift
Birds of a feather flock together.
Birds of a feather flock together.
My friend @kop, shit has been hitting the fan for almost a year now. What will happen eventually (soon) is the entire septic tank is going to explode. No fan needed.
Management is still delusional. Shit will hit the fan eventually.
This week's outcome: oil is 10% down - we are yet to capitulate...
