Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Any prices going down yet???

Still not seeing it happen..and even on the items that they raised prices on,which inthought would get lowered back to the already high original price, havent changed either...hmmmm..and how much of our good comp years was driven by price changes upward versus actual cart sale size growth or customer volume???hmmm..

Noticing more electronic shelf tags are blank or very hard to read. As a customer, this stinks. Why pay $2 more for butter at WF than at Central Market for the exact same product? Lower prices? Shouldn't I pay less for bread since now I have to learn how to work the bread slicing machine myself? What is this, Aldi?

Oh yes, they're taking some of the profits and "investing" in lower prices. What a joke. I had a couple of customers stop by once and they were rolling their eyes at the prices. They were Costco shoppers but they wanted to see if they could save money by using case discounts, special orders and so forth. I think y'all know what the answer was. Costco was selling in bulk at rock bottom pricing every day. No gimmicks, no games, and also Costco had convenient online ordering available for anything not at the local Costco stores. Moving forward, it is what it is, so try to do more with less. With great love, your friends at Costco.
