Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

UK will be hit hard

Oil at record lows, Aberdeen facilities with no work, pressure pumping dying, and bad numbers coming for the quarter and the future bleak to finished. The line has been crossed now with oil at this low. BHI cannot survive in its current form now. Get out folks . Wish that i took voluntary with the other guys now. Most are working and happier and load of cash in hand. We laughed when they left. But we all wish we took the brave correct jump. Thats a fact.

I am glad i went. Redundancy payment, no mortgage and less stressful job closer to home. Was BHI good to work for ??? What do you think. I sleep well now.

The overlords don't really care. We are non Americans for starters so straight to the bottom of the shite pile and totally expendable.

If the Halliburton deal goes through Martin and his lovers, Art, Archana etc. will sail off into the sunshine with their vast fortunes.

If the deal fails then the leaders are all dead men walking. They still will walk away with vast amounts of $'s whilst laughing at how foolish we all were drinking the kool aid.

Fluids are screwed next. They have practically lost all Africa and paid everyone off. Baker being run to ground on purpose to make merger look viable .

Sad what these people did to a good company. Fingers crossed karma repays them
