I've been shorting COP on margin since $65/share. I guess that was my karma because I got laid off in Oct. Still holding short - will go much lower.

BAM! It aint down today Boy. Better check your facts. Good money to be had on this stock when the company gets sold.
Cost reduction concept, terminate those immediately for not holding hand rail and without severance as it has been covered in HSE Awareness program........
At the current price of oil and natural gas ConocoPhillips does not own a single asset with the potential of profit. The claims related to Venezuela are of interest to speculators but no need for 20,000 employees to manage the claims.
HA! I'm might replace all the "Hold Handrail" stickers with stickers that state, "Slipping costs COP more money than this sticker because you're stupid." Or, something equally funny, like "Wet Paint".
I'll then print and then affix stickers that switch all the "Door Open" and "Door Close" buttons on the elevators. HA!
I wouldn't mind seeing someone acquire COP for $50 a share at this point. We could all cut our losses and get rid of our leadership team.
COP is removing all handrails in an effort to reduce facility costs. Hold on to the wall and don't fall!!
Come on now. Stay positive. And hold the handrails.
Thanks, Captain Obvious. What a jerk.
