Oracle groups are in silos and too much of acquisitions leading to integration challenges. This sucks in every aspect and if they bring in one group that may be bigger than yours you may be laid off - that's the Oracle way... Also if you happen to be outside of the main business lines (EBusiness Suite, Database, etc) there will be minimal focus or excitement for senior leaders, raises and bonuses were few and far between - The execs have no clue what the vision is, and they communicate nothing - you have no clue where you are standing and what will happen in future... Finally, Oracle lays off people every - no rhyme or reason here - they need to meet numbers and they cut - redundancies are frequent and people hate this as it creates a ton of anxiety within the company. Good luck!

Someone should tell Oracle execs that their current strategy was recently employed at Qualcomm. That worked out so well for them. (NOT!)
