NOV doesn't care about their employees. If you think they did you're kidding yourself, That was a thing of the past like 10 or more years ago. One of the reasons they don't care about you is the fact they have family and their own friends enabling and helping one another cover up their corrupt behavior

I don't think the lack of communication is specifically an NOV issue. Same complaints are posted about other companies. I guess it's what they (Mgmt + HR) are expected to do.

they are so paranoid of employees doing something irrationally, and hurting NOV, that they will continue to keep everyone on the guessing game. The fact that your are so unsure of what is going on is proving that they want you to be unsure of what is going on.

There is zero transparency, they are, unknowingly, looking out for the investors instead of the people that have put their heart, mind and time into making NOV expand during the glory years.

The oil industry will always be cyclical, but the way they're treating their employees (the one's they cared so much about the 'morale' of 2 years ago) is appalling.

NOV has been laying off people weekly, monthly while staying within the boundary in order to stay out of the media and avoid warn act notification. They've been doing this a long time.

WARN Act only comes into play if there is a facility closure or mass layoffs at a facility.

I Heard that if they do some type of percentage. Let say below 25% they're not supposed to do a warning. If they go above a certain percentage then they have to notify TWC and create a warning. That's why we see multiple locations doing layoffs so close to each other to avoid this.

At least that's what I believe, just my opinion.
