Tomorrow I'm going to lunch at Drago's with a vendor. He agreed to pay. I agreed to approve his invoice with the customary 15% markup. I'll down 1 and 1/2 dozen chargrilled oysters just for an appetizer. I'll see what else is on the menu. Oh... HR will not be invited.

HR personnel came to lunch with us many times, as far as that's concerned. They prefer the Char-grilled oysters at Drago's and can usually get the vendor to swing it, that's why I don't mind them one bit!!!!! Come one come all, the more the merrier! The problem is that it runs deep. Probably not all management involved but enough to stifle any who might say something. You'd have to start with investigating the investigators, and that isn't going to happen.
