I couldn't agree with you more!!!!!! And let me add to what you posted: How about those long lines at the checkout, with only a couple of registers open, while 18 registers are closed. What's the point of all those registers if you refuse to man them and keep your customers happy?

What Walmart refuses to recognize is that there ARE other options for shopping. They seem to be going down the same road as K-Mart did years ago....and they paid the ultimate price, at least here in Georgia where most K- Mart stores had to close. Poor employee attitude, employees not knowing where items are or even if the store carries said items, empty shelves....... the list could go on and on.

When companies decide to operate on the cheap, they will eventually pay more than they would have had they been customer friendly to start with.

Walmart continues to use convenient excuses as to volume problems. They ignore poorly stocked shelves; rude non working employees; poor quality selection and "scruffy" looking stores.

We now buy only what we can't find elsewhere. We still spend money with Walmart but only when we have to.

@diy - here's a thought...don't shop there! As long as people continue to shop there, they'll continue the shoddy service. "If you keep doing what you're doing, you're to keep getting what you're getting'. LLTQ!

Walmart took over a large supermarket chain called Asda in UK and since they have it has gone from a good supermarket to absolute crap. Cheap nasty produce and they have got rid of staff with them stupid self serve tills. I don't want to scan a full trolley load of items. My favourite grocery store I visited in Florida was Publix. Really great customer service.

I should get paid for this information they should hire me as their global operations manager Walmart that is.

They have several weaknesses always long lines, customer service traffic, money center traffic , attitude of employees, and poor middle managers.

It seems they have lost the focus of creating a happy customer perhaps being an almost monopoly in retail market has a lot to do with it!!

Kinko's should have a bust of their logo enshrined in the lack of customer support hall of fame.

To me, good customer service is to leave me alone so I can shop in peace. I don't need or want employees asking if I need any help every 5 minutes.

Some are surprises on this list given their acclaim and success. Most are old world retailers which in some ways make sense because it's possible that the online retailers have better technology built into the process and are sensitive to the 365/24/7 nature of retail and the associated customer service. Our efforts at Flash Purchase are to deliver added value to consumers and merchants all times and to satisfy their requests wherever and whenever possible.
