Correction: You CAN keep your family due to the demands of the job.
The demands of any corporate job once a person moves beyond the worker bee level skyrocket. Because of that stress intensifies and time gets eaten up. The stress along with family obligations and never enough time cause rifts. You can't quit the job because it supports your family but you can't keep the family because of the demands of the job. You take it out on the people you love and eventually you can't stand each other.
