Thread regarding Southwestern Energy Co. layoffs

Old SWN culture has been replaced with the failed cultures from other failed companies.

Layoffs are coming. People that are saying they're not are either; lying, stupid or living with obama in his make believe socialist world!

Hang on and ride it out is all I can advise.

Upper management needs to man-up and fall on their swords for the poor management decisions. Everyone under them have done their jobs and contributed to being the right people doing the right thing. Upper management have failed the company and taken us into debt. That's what you get when you hire execs from other failed companies. Old SWN culture has been replaced with the failed cultures from other failed companies.

Agreed. It's all about the decisions that were made and there were some bone headed ones, that's for sure.

Amen. It's not the same SWN that formulated the Formula. The ones that cared are all gone minus a few. The management that is left are the ones that came on their coat tails hoping to reap the same rewards without believing in the same principles. Tomorrow the true face of new management will shine and will be a testament of how their management style worked. Remember when the mantra for so long was "We can ride it out. We have no debt, we are in the black, and we can sustain up to at least 1.80 gas. just follow the formula and keep to PVI!" Guess that West Virginia deal changed things. Put us so far in the red that we are where we are now. Too bad the ones responsible will never be the ones that pay for their bad decisions.
