I swear - some of these jokers must know where the bodies are buried. I do not understand how a certain GVP and a certain RM make it through these layoffs - years worth of layoffs - not just this one...slippery dudes.

B S** is one of the worst leaders I have ever worked with. He lies--I am friends with some of the new people from Neebo. He told all of Neebo several times that nothing would change, that no one was losing their job. It was all a lie--there were layoffs in October, and now this. Follett is known for their massive layoffs. BS is disgusting. He clearly plays favorites and isn't a nice person. Why does he keep making the cut? BUT as much as it sucks to lose your job--you are better off in the long run. Hang in there!!

I hope HT is still there. If anyone should go it should be BS. Oh and by the way, it doesn't matter how good or bad you perform when it comes to choosing who goes..it comes down to dollars.

The reality is the K-Mart rejects that came in are out to pad as much money in their pockets as they can for themselves and their buddies before they get the axe themselves from the Follett's. For that to happen those of us that cared for this company and worked way harder than our pay required get shown the door. These guys do not care about the company success or survival. CW makes a bunch of noise and is great at bringing attention to himself but never really does anything of merit, reminds me of a typical politician. DG just plays with his hands all day like he has a mental problem and watches you like Deebo from Friday. Very unhealthy environment.
It is not just the RM's and GVP's. Follett lays off some of its best talent, and keeps the lagards and poor performers. It is one thing to lay off employees, another thing to lay off your best employees.
