You are evaluated and ranked on a quarter to quarter basis. Every IBM employee has an expiration date on his/her head.
It really is just a matter of time before every employee's number comes up.
It is simply the IBM way.

This is true, there is only a handful of folks who can or will survive 15 or 20 years, the higher your number of years with IBM, the more likely you'll get cut
