This is just getting way out of control! No reason to live every day with this kind of fear!
The layoffs will happen at the end of the week. Since big red already paid for the medical costs for month, and as a large part of the burden rate, they want to make sure they maximise what they spent. But they don't want to carry the cost to next month.

I am amazed they have not cleared house with Real Estate, I.T and HR. But I guess you need HR to do the layoffs, RES to make sure Dave's Log Cabin in Whitefish is protected, and IT so Dave, Pope, Brown & Jamail don't miss March Madness. Opps, sorry! They can fly there in the G5 like they did for the Superbowl.
